I recently bought a velvet JCrew jacket and cannot wait to wear it! Are you a fan of velvet? Have a great weekend everyone. I'm hoping to stay dry here as many parts in our area are flooded and schools have been canceled. Fingers crossed the rain and flood waters subside. xx
Industrial architecture, open space, lots of plants, really cute doggie equals a space I'd totally work in. Designed by MU Architecture, the challenge was to develop a large “work and live” area for 250 people on two floors totaling approximately 45 000 sq. ft. I think they definitely achieved that goal! A huge 40 by 60 feet studio on two floors is set in the center of the project, radiating as the heart of Moment Factory.
How cool, right? I wonder if they have any openings...

We're always searching for that perfect bookshelf and sometimes that can prove to be a challenge especially for small spaces. I love how this blogger used cratesto make her own bookshelf just by stacking them. Simple and beautiful! xx
Fall is almost here and many of us can't wait to enjoy the much cooler weather outside-no mosquitos and unbearable heat, just you and a nice fall breeze chilling with friends and family. I love finding creative ways to use my backyard for entertaining and I lovetents. I usually find a sturdy tree with branches that can withstand the weight. Here I used thrifted pink and orange sheets that matched the sheer curtains i already had. They were hand tied to the branches at the top and I usedofficemate silver binder clips to hold them in place. For additional boho vibe, I layered some of my exotic rugs on the grass, added lots of throw pillows, hung a thrifted macrame plant hanger and paper lantern , brought in some blankets, snack and my zen Buddha and my boho tent was ready for the spotlight.
Originally spotted on desire to inspire, this home in Melbourne had me drooling! The art collection is seriously amazing! The talented folks atMemeare responsible for this modern's home swoon worthy style and swag. It's no surprise that the home owner is an art collector-just take a look at all the art!

Almost everyone seems to be engaging inFall conversationswhile I am here thinking, "I am going to squeeze the life out of what's left of Summer." After all, it IS still Summer and it sure still feels like it.
